Instance configuration (tia® Connect)

Instance settings always apply to a specific instance which is referred to by settings in Sharepoint and SPFX settings. The instance is always mapped to a repository in the tia® Content Server archive.

The instance configuration resides typically in the connect.yaml file (for alterative configuration location see <Tbd>).

All parameters of an instance share the same parent:

Each instance can have a name of choice. Among all instances, however, the name must be unique.

The instance default is the template for all instances: If a parameter is not specified for a specific instance, the setting of default is applied. In case a parameter is not specified for the instance, nor in default instance, the general default value of the parameter is applied.
