Installation of SAP .NET Connector (SAP NCo) for tia Scan until Version 2.21.0.0

This document applies to tia Scan 2.21.0 and below. When using later version of tia Scan, read Installation of SAP .NET Connector (SAP NCo) for tia Scan

In order to configure export features of tia Scan with an SAP System, it requires the SAP NCo library.

 

The installation files are provided by SAP: SAP Connector for Microsoft .NET

.

 

  1. Read this information and verify that all listed prerequisites for 32bit-version of SAP NCo 3.0 library are met.

  2. Then download the SAP NCo 3.0 library for .NET framework for Windows 32bit (x86).

You need a user for the "SAP Support Portal" to download the libraries

  1. The download is a zip-archive containing multiple files. Extract all files into an empty directory.

  1. Start Microsoft installer application NCo[version]_Net40_x86.msi and follow the instructions in the dialog boxes.

  2. After installation, locate the files rscp4n.dll, sapnco.dll and sapnco_utils.dll in directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP_DotNetConnector3_Net40_x86

  1. Copy the files rscp4n.dll, sapnco.dll and sapnco_utils.dll into the program directory of tia Scan:

C:\Program Files (x86)\KGS\KGS Scan

 

After these steps the installation for SAP NCo library to be used with tia Scan is complete.
