ArchiveLink Retention Propagation (tC)

“Retention Propagation to ArchiveLink” repositories is supported from Version 2.0.2 of ILM.

ArchiveLink repository has to be configured in the repository.cfg of ILM
ArchiveLink repository has to be Content Server based

Beside these requirements there are no further configurations required.

ILM flow description:

SAP is sending retention propagation information with a PropPatch request. tia® Content Server core tries to determine the repository from the request in the repository configuration. Is the repository available a lock is send alongside with the PropaPatch information to the repository.

When supported a hardware lock is used in the ContentService otherwise a software lock is set.
