There are two ways to install the tia® Document Router.
via Apache Tomcat WebUI
via Apache Tomcat webapp-folder
1. Sample installation for Apache Tomcat 9 via WebUI
Open your tomcat's "Manager App", go to section WAR file to deploy, select KGSAdmin-DR.war and click on the deploy button.
Highlighted area in Tomcat which allows you to deploy “KGS DocumentRouter” via the web user interface.
After the deployment procedure has been completed, a new web application called KGSAdmin-DR will appear in the list of the installed web applications.
If the name of the *.war-file was changed, that the name of the deployed web application has been changed as well.
2. Sample installation via webapps-folder
After downloading tia® Document Router, unzip the content of the downloaded zip-archive into <Webserver-installation-folder>/webapps folder.
The zip-archive contains tia® Document Router in form of a war-container, which will be automatically decompressed by Apache Tomcat Webserver.
After Tomcat has finished decompressing the war-container, you may restart Tomcat webserver once.
Depending on the hardware and system where Tomcat web server is being executed on, it might take some time to decompress the content of the war-archive.
