Within the OCR tab, you may define the following parameters.
Important note: Currently OCR can only be used on Windows environments so a server based on the Microsoft Windows platform is required in order to use OCR.

EnforceJPEG | Text | During the OCR process, KGS ScanServer will convert the images of a PDF document in order to use the optical character recognition. When EnforceJPEG is enabled, KGS ScanServer will make sure to use JPEG images when rebuilding PDF documents after the OCR process finishes. |
