Within the General-subsection you may provide a description for the scanning profile as well as choose from the Scanner:-list all TWAIN scanners that had been detected by KGS Scan when the application was started.
Please note: In case your scanner isn’t listed please make sure, that you’ve installed the latest TWAIN drivers on the workstation.
In case you do not have any scanners connected to the workstation or in case your workflow requires the scan of files you may choose the scanner File Importer (System)-scanner provided by KGS. This scanner allows you to scan and process existing files.

After entering a description and choosing the scanner, please save your changes by pressing the Save-button.
