Introduction
KGS kgs tia Viewer is a container-based web application. This means that no additional software components, such as Java or browser add-ons, need to be installed on the client workstation or server. When you retrieve a document from SAP, the viewer launches in the browser and displays the stored document. One is able to customize the viewer on a content repository or even a document type level (client specific). provides SAP users with a web-based user-interface to view PDF, JPEG, and TIFF files. tia Viewer UI launches in the browser when the user requests a document from within SAP, retrieves it from SAP archive and displays it. Based on configuration the user may add annotations to the document which get stored aside the document in the archive. Flexible configuration options based on document type as well as by content repository address even special use cases.
tia Viewer runs as a container-application executed by a OCI-compliant container runtime. A war-file for web server deployment is NOT available.
tia Viewer supports any ArchiveLink®-certified SAP archive and is controlled via the central instance of the SAP system.
